Israeli airstrikes targeted the Damascus countryside, while occupation forces established a checkpoint and made an incursion into the Quneitra countryside in southern Syria.
In detail, local sources in the Damascus countryside revealed that an Israeli drone targeted the road connecting the town of Beit Jinn and Tell Bat al-Warda with three consecutive airstrikes, without causing any civilian casualties.
Beit Jinn has become a location of repeated Israeli violations.
On November 28, elite troops from the 55th Paratroopers Brigade of the 98th Elite Division raided the town, just a few hundred meters from the United Nations Disengagement Observer Force (UNDOF) Zone. During their attempt to detain some of the individuals, resisting local residents opened fire, forcing a withdrawal.
An Israeli Humvee vehicle used in the incursion was subsequently left behind. Then, according to Israeli reports, the Israeli Air Force raided the area and bombed the abandoned vehicle.
Israeli occupation forces said they detained three individuals during the raid, but the ensuing confrontations and Israeli strikes left at least 20 people dead and 25 others injured in the Syrian village.
Thirteen Israeli troops were also injured in the confrontations.
Incursion and checkpoints
Israeli incursions and military checkpoints have also become a near-daily reality in Syria's Quneitra countryside.
Today, Israeli occupation forces established a military checkpoint near a school in the town of Zubayda al-Gharbiya in the central Quneitra countryside in southern Syria, conducting searches targeting citizens and passersby.
Local sources in Quneitra also reported that an Israeli occupation patrol entered the village of Umm al-Adham in the province's countryside.
Since the fall of the al-Assad regime, "Israel" has occupied large areas in southern Syria and conducts almost daily incursions into several areas, carrying out attacks against civilians.
