'Israel' commits massacre in Beirut, levels residential building
The Israeli occupation woke Beirut residents at 4 in the morning with a series of airstrikes targeting a single location, a residential building in the Basta area, leveling the building completely and damaging several others in its surroundings.
An Israeli airstrike early this morning targeted an 8-story residential building in the Basta area of Beirut, completely destroying it. Al Mayadeen's correspondent described the attack as a massacre, noting that surrounding buildings also sustained significant damage.
The explosions from the strike were heard across a wide area, with reports indicating that the sound reached as far as Mount Lebanon and even Saida. The blast was reportedly extremely loud, reverberating throughout Beirut.

Israeli drones have been continuously flying over Beirut’s skies, with no signs of retreat, according to our correspondent.
Lebanon's Health Ministry has confirmed an initial toll of four martyrs and 23 injured, with search and rescue operations still ongoing to recover victims from the rubble.
According to our correspondent, civil defense crews are facing significant challenges in their search and rescue operations due to the extensive damage.
It was also reported that the targeted area had not been warned in advance, and many residents were buried under the rubble while they slept.
This marks another escalation in the ongoing conflict, with Israeli occupation forces continuing to target civilian areas in Lebanon.
Israeli attacks on Beirut's Southern Suburb, massacres in Bekaa, South
The Israeli occupation launched an airstrike on Frudat on a residential building in Chiyah by the Old Saida Road, in Beirut's Southern Suburb, according to Al Mayadeen's correspondent.
The strike came after a series of attacks on the Southern Suburb, which heavily focused on targeting residential buildings and apartments across Haret Hreik, Hadath, and Kafa'at.
The Israeli army's spokesperson also renewed evacuation warnings at around 4:40 pm on Friday for the areas of Ghobeiry, Hadath, and Haret Hreik.
