Many victims remain under the rubble and on the streets as the Israeli occupation forces deliberately prevent ambulances and civil defense crews from reaching them, the Health Ministry added.

The Israeli army conducted intense bombing across the Strip throughout the day, including many regions in the North and the recently invaded Rafah.

Al Mayadeen's correspondent reported that the northern borders of Beit Lahia came under heavy fire and artillery shells, while Israeli airstrikes targeted the city.

Eastern areas of the Jabalia refugee camp and al-Zaytoun neighborhood near Gaza City also came under violent Israeli shelling, he added.

Heavy Israeli shelling and helicopter gunfire struck areas in eastern Rafah, where Israeli occupation forces invaded earlier this week. Additionally, civilian areas in the area sheltering over 1.4 million Palestinians were targeted with phosphorus bombs.
