"Israel" is experiencing tense days due to the anticipated Iranian response, indicated the former Chief of Operations for the Israeli military, retired Major General Israel Ziv.

Iranian officials have made it clear that Tehran's response to the Israeli assassination of Hamas Political Bureau chief Ismail Haniyeh, which was carried out on Iranian soil, is inevitable.

"This is the moment of truth. Things could spiral out of control; we must be extremely vigilant about what will happen in the coming days," Ziv stressed.

In an interview for Israeli radio, Ziv considered that the war on Gaza, "which began as a decisive war, has also transitioned into a war of attrition war."

Touching on the concerns amid the anticipated Iranian response, the retired Israeli Major General pointed out that in the meantime, Iran is earning points in this waiting period.

He also emphasized that the intensity of the fighting in the West Bank is no less than that in Gaza, adding that "even the assassinations that Israel boasts about are meaningless" if they lead to the same situation.

Hezbollah controls Margaliot

On the other side, specifically on the northern border of occupied Palestine, the head of the Margaliot settlement indicated that the Israeli military and "Israel" do not control Margaliot but Hezbollah does.

In an interview for Israeli Channel Kan, Eitan Davidi pointed out that "the situation in the north has become normalized," adding that Israeli settlers there are tired of ten months of waiting.

The Israeli official also highlighted the significant economic problems in the north resulting from Hezbollah's operations, asserting that the Lebanese group's fighters "will not rest until they carry out their own version of October 7 against Israel."
