The Israeli Kan public broadcaster said earlier in the day that several roads were blocked in the north in the wake of Hezbollah Secretary-General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah's threats.

The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon - Hezbollah claimed Friday responsibility for targeting military sites and assembly points of Israeli occupation forces at the Lebanese border area with occupied Palestine.

"Israel" has no interest in a war with Hezbollah

Former head of the Israeli Mossad, Danny Yatom, said that it is not in "Israel's" interest to initiate a war against Hezbollah in southern Lebanon.

Yatom spoke to the Israeli Channel 13 claiming that “Israel” today stands alone against the axis of resistance, "and instead of the liberal democratic axis, led by the United States of America, fighting this axis, we are forced to fight it."

“I was shocked on October 7, when I found that we needed two aircraft carriers to save Israel, and we were fighting barefoot as we thought (Hamas fighters),” He said, adding that "Israel" must learn from reality so as not to turn to hubris.

In turn, the former Commander of the Staff Corps, Major General Reserve Gershon Hacohen, said: “We are in an unprecedented and truly disastrous situation, and the situation in the north (Hezbollah) is very difficult.”

Raviv Drucker, a political commentator on Channel 13, said: "We are not in the year 1967. There is no  and we do not have the ability, nor the army to engage in a ground operation to force Hezbollah beyond the Litani, and all threats aim to trigger an international action."

In several statements, the resistance declared its operations during Sayyed Nasrallah's speech.

The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon announced that it targeted the assembly points of Israeli occupation soldiers around the "Dovev" barracks with missiles, inflicting major casualties upon their deployments.

Similarly, the resistance targeted a group of Israeli soldiers stationed at the "Ramia" site, confirming direct hits and causing numerous casualties, killing at least one soldier.

The Resistance issued a few more brief statements confirming that its fighters attacked the Zebdine and Ruwaisat al-Alam military sites in the occupied Shebaa Farms.

Moreover, Hezbollah attacked the Israeli al-Malikiyah site with the notorious, high-payload Burkan rockets, causing severe casualties.

The operations came as Sayyed Nasrallah was vowing retaliation against the Israeli occupation for its crimes against civilians in southern Lebanon.

The Israeli occupation will pay with blood for its killing of civilians in southern Lebanon, as this is a sensitive issue for the Resistance and a red line that was crossed, he said.

"The aggression on Nabatieh and al-Sawaneh is a development that we must stop at in the ongoing confrontation because it targeted civilians," he underlined, stressing that the Israeli occupation killed civilians intentionally, as it has the capabilities to avoid killing them in such a manner.

"The enemy will pay with blood for its shedding of our women and children's blood in Nabatieh and al-Sawaneh," he stressed.

"Bombing 'Kiryat Shmona' with dozens of Katyusha rockets and several Falaq missiles is a preliminary response," Sayyed Nasrallah stressed.

The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon - Hezbollah continued Thursday targeting Israeli military sites and settlements in support of the Palestinian people in Gaza and the Palestinian Resistance, as well as in response to the Israeli occupation's attacks on Lebanese villages and civilian homes in southern the country's south.

The Islamic Resistance issued a brief statement announcing that its fighters targeted the Israeli settlement of "Kiryat Shmona" with dozens of Katyusha rockets as an initial response to the massacres in Nabatieh and al-Sawaneh.

Furthermore, the fighters of the resistance targeted the Samaqa site with missiles, with several direct hits confirmed.
