The Civil Defense Authority in Gaza issued a statement detailing the number of martyrs in its ranks and the targeting of its centers and crews amid the ongoing Israeli occupation’s genocidal war in the Gaza Strip.

He stated that the Israeli attacks led to "the destruction and damage of 56 vehicles, including 12 fire and rescue vehicles, two rapid intervention vehicles, four water tankers, eight ambulances, a hydraulic rescue ladder, and 13 administrative vehicles."
The Civil Defense noted that the Israeli bombing "directly targeted its centers six times and hit its crews 18 times during field missions."
They confirmed that the Israeli occupation forces are blocking Civil Defense crews from retrieving remaining equipment in the Tal al-Hawa area, west of Gaza City, after destroying its stock of firefighter, rescue, and ambulance supplies.
This week, 13 firefighter, rescue, and rapid intervention vehicles out of 22 in the central governorates, Khan Younis and Rafah in southern Gaza, stopped operating due to a lack of fuel needed to operate them.
The Civil Defense reported that in northern Gaza, which is facing an ongoing systematic aggression, occupation forces continue to fully disrupt its operations. For the 42nd consecutive day, its vehicles have been detained in the northern Gaza Strip, leaving civilians without vital humanitarian services.
In a related development, the Israeli occupation continues its bombardment across the Gaza Strip, escalating its crimes against the Palestinian people. In the past 24 hours alone, it carried out two massacres, resulting in 36 martyrs and 96 wounded.
