409 days of Israeli genocide in Gaza: 43,922 killed, 103,898 injured
The Israeli aggression in northern Gaza has intensified around the Beit Lahia market, where relentless bombardment has resulted in devastating massacres.
The Israeli occupation continues its war of genocide against the Gaza Strip, now ongoing for the 409th day, with the Gaza Health Ministry announcing that over the past 24 hours, the Israeli military committed four massacres, resulting in 76 martyrs and 158 injuries, with many victims still trapped under rubble or inaccessible in the streets.
Since October 7, 2023, the Israeli occupation has killed 43,922 Palestinians and injured 103,898 others, the ministry confirmed Monday in its daily report.
The aggression in northern Gaza has centered on the Beit Lahia market, where heavy bombardment has been ongoing. At least three Palestinians were killed and others were wounded, following a strike on a residential building in the Beit Lahia housing project.
Simultaneously, relentless artillery shelling targeted the town, accompanied by gunfire. Areas such as al-Midan, Atatra, and Sultan neighborhoods have witnessed severe bombardment, exacerbating the dire humanitarian crisis in the North.
In Gaza City, southeastern and southwestern neighborhoods came under heavy Israeli airstrikes. A home on al-Jalaa Street was destroyed in a targeted raid. Meanwhile, the new camp, north of Nuseirat in central Gaza, was also hit by airstrikes, alongside artillery shelling, west of the camp. Reports indicated that an Israeli quadcopter opened fire east of the al-Bureij camp.
In the southern Gaza Strip, an Israeli airstrike targeted a makeshift tent providing shelter to forcibly displaced families, west of Khan Younis. The brutal Israeli attack killed four Palestinians, including two children, and left several others injured.
In Rafah, two Palestinians were martyred following a strike on the al-Geneina neighborhood, while Israeli occupation forces demolished an entire residential block in the northwestern part of the city, leaving widespread destruction in its wake.
Israeli forces have continued their aggression on the Gaza Strip, by land, sea, and air, since October 7, 2023, which has resulted in the martyrdom of close to 44,000 people, most of whom are women and children, and the injury of around 104,000 others, in an incomplete toll, as thousands of victims are still under the rubble and on the roads, while ambulance and rescue crews cannot reach them.

Heavy losses for Gaza’s civil defense amid ongoing Israeli genocide
Gaza Civil Defense has detailed the significant toll it has suffered in Gaza as a result of relentless Israeli attacks, painting a grim picture of its capacity to respond to the ongoing humanitarian crisis.
In its statement, the group has revealed harrowing figures, reporting 85 personnel killed, 301 injured, and 20 detained amid ongoing Israeli aggression.
The devastation extends to infrastructure and equipment, as per the statement.
The emergency service went on to say that a total of 17 Civil Defense centers had been damaged, with 14 destroyed and three partially impacted.
The fleet of emergency vehicles has also suffered greatly, with 56 vehicles either completely or partially destroyed. These include 12 fire and rescue vehicles, two rapid-response rescue units, four water tankers, eight ambulances, one hydraulic rescue ladder, and 13 administrative vehicles, as per the group.
Additionally, 11 fire and rescue vehicles, three ambulances, and two water tankers sustained partial damage.
Furthermore, the Civil Defense stated that its centers were directly targeted six times, while its teams came under attack 17 times during field operations. Moreover, its stock of critical firefighting, rescue, and medical equipment—valued at $1.3 million—has been destroyed.
The crisis escalated further on October 23, when invading Israeli forces rendered the Civil Defense system in northern Gaza non-operational, forcing its teams to relocate to central and southern regions of the Strip.
As a result, Civil Defense operations in northern Gaza remain suspended for the 27th consecutive day, leaving thousands of Palestinians without access to emergency services, medical care, or humanitarian aid.
The emergency service renewed its urgent call for intervention, emphasizing the catastrophic human impact of its inability to operate under sustained Israeli aggression.
