The Lebanese Ministry of Health announced Saturday that the death toll of the Israeli aggression on Lebanon since October 8, 2023, has risen to 2,653 martyrs, with 12,360 people injured.

In its latest update, the Ministry reported that on Friday alone, 19 Lebanese were martyred and 108 wounded as a result of the attacks. This toll includes 10 martyrs and 56 injuries in southern Lebanon, seven martyrs and 46 injuries in Nabatieh, and two martyrs with six injuries in the Bekaa region.

On Saturday, a paramedic was martyred, and five others were injured after an airstrike targeted the Civil Defense Center operated by the Islamic Health Authority in Bazourieh, southern Lebanon. According to the Ministry, this raises the total number of martyred paramedics since the beginning of the aggression to 164, with 275 others wounded.

The Ministry reiterated its condemnation of the targeting of medical centers and health personnel, calling upon the international community to put an end to these relentless Israeli attacks on humanitarian facilities.

Israeli airstrikes have intensified across southern Lebanon, with recent raids targeting the towns of Ansar, Kfar Jouz, and Tefahta, where injuries were reported.

An Israeli drone also struck a bulldozer in the village of Rashknaniyeh, while additional strikes hit the villages of Bedyas and Burj al-Shamali in the Tyre district.
