'Israel' kills 3 Lebanese paramedics in strike on civil defense center

The Israeli aggression on the medical facility came as part of wide strikes on Lebanese towns and villages across the Lebanese-Palestinian border.

Three Lebanese paramedics of the Islamic Health Authority in the civil defense forces were killed in an Israeli strike on Monday, which targeted a medical center in the southern town of Odeisseh near the Palestinian borders, the Islamic Health Authority said in a statement.

The Resistance identified the martyred paramedics as Hussein Ibrahim, Ali Sweidan, and Abbas Hojeij.

The deaths came hours after Israeli medics said a missile strike on northern Israel killed a foreign worker and wounded seven others.

Lebanon's health ministry condemned the Israeli raid "in the strongest terms" and called attacks on medical personnel "unacceptable", in a statement carried by the state-run National News Agency.

This is the second Israeli aggression on southern Lebanon in the past 10 days which led to the killing of medical personnel.

Martyrs Mohammad Yaaqoub and Hussein Mohammad Khalil were mourned by the Islamic Health Authority on February 23 after they were killed in an Israeli air strike targeting the health organization's headquarters in the border town of Blida, destroying the building, equipment, and several ambulances.

Israeli attacks on Lebanon since last October have killed tens of civilians, including children, seniors, and even entire families.

Just last week, two elderly Lebanese citizens, Hussein Hamdan and his wife Manar Aabadi, were killed after their home in the southern city of Kafra was struck by Israeli jets. 14 other civilians were also wounded in the attack.
