'Israel' may 'cease to exist' by 2026 in current situation: Lieberman
The former Israeli Security Minister warns that Netanyahu is leading "Israel" toward "destruction".
Israeli occupation Knesset Member and former Security Minister Avigdor Lieberman warned that the entity might "cease to exist" in two years if Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu remains on top of the government.
Talking to Maariv newspaper, the head of the Yisrael Beiteinu Party said that Netanyahu is leading "Israel" toward "destruction," adding that the premier is mainly concerned about staying in power.
“Israel is facing existential threats and is undergoing a multi-dimensional crisis encompassing political, economic, and security issues—the most significant since its establishment," Lieberman said.

He continued that the occupation entity today is facing unprecedented existential threats and a multifaceted crisis - political, economic, and security.
On the Al-Aqsa Flood Operation, Lieberman accused Netanyahu of failing to prevent the Resistance attack due to his years-long wrong policies in dealing with Hamas and its leaders.
'Internal collapse'
Last month, the senior official sounded the alarm, saying that after eight months of war, "we ["Israel"] have garnered total shame instead of total victory."
His warnings also included the current situation on the northern borders, stating that the Israeli government "lost the north, and continues yielding to Hezbollah, which has been doing what it wants."
In a related context, commenting on the ongoing status quo, Israeli Reserve Major General and military analyst Yitzhak Brik said in early June that the Israeli occupation forces will be met with failure in their war with Hamas, and they will certainly meet the same fate in a war against Hezbollah.

In an op-ed for the Jerusalem Post, Brik stressed that the IOF couldn't beat either Resistance faction, not because they do not seek victory, but simply because they can not emerge victorious, citing the "small and weak" army that has "no surplus of forces."
"Every day the war continues, our situation worsens," he said, decrying that both the IOF and the entity in and of itself were heading toward internal collapse.
