An opinion piece published by philosopher Alexander Dugin delves into the current state of the Axis of Resistance following the assassination of Hezbollah leader Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah.

He explains that the Axis of Resistance in the Middle East is heavily supported by the Islamic Republic of Iran, "and the late Hassan Nasrallah, as the leader of Hezbollah, represented the vanguard of the anti-Israeli resistance of the entire Islamic world."

Having played such a critical role in the balance of powers, Sayyed Nasrallah's assassination marks a major trigger not only to the Lebanese Resistance but to the broader Axis of Resistance.

Recalling the strange death of Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi, Dugin says that "the picture of Israel attacking its regional adversaries appears to be out of the ordinary."

"Israel, thanks to the support of the collective West and using its latest technological means (and they were and remain pioneers in the field of digital technologies), acts very effectively, precisely, and in a coordinated manner," Dugin says.

"And it is very difficult to imagine how to respond to this," especially given that many individuals from different nations, who are at the cutting edge of technological advancements, may turn out to be Israeli citizens, Dugin notes.

In other words, "Israel" benefits from a global network of supporters who align with the ideals of political and religious Zionism. "This gives Israel a major advantage as a networked structure, not just a state."

Visions of delusions

Dugin further recalls that "Israel's" actions are driven by a Zionist vision of creating a "Greater Israel," with support from extremist factions in the occupied territories.

These factions, including Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his ministers, are preparing for the arrival of the Messiah, a goal that involves dominating the region and potentially even destroying the Al-Aqsa Mosque to build the Third Temple, Dugin explains.

Here, Dugin warns that "Israel" might be preparing for a ground invasion into Lebanon and beyond, as part of its ambition to expand territorially and create "Greater Israel".

"Perhaps now Israel's land invasion of Lebanon and beyond will follow. In order to create the 'Great Israel' from sea to sea. No matter how utopian and extremist the projects of Netanyahu and his even more right-wing ministers Smotrych and Ben-Gvir may look, they are being implemented right now before our eyes."
