'Israel' on its toes fearing anticipated Hezbollah response
Israeli media outlets are reporting on an increased "state of alert" in Israeli settlements near Lebanon, as the military fears Hezbollah's retaliation.
"Israel" is vastly increasing precautionary measures across settlements and cities in occupied territories, following a vicious strike on Lebanon's Southern Suburb of Beirut, Israeli media outlets reported on Tuesday.
The Israeli military command announced a "state of alert," requesting that all settlers near the border with Lebanon head to bomb shelters.
Israeli media outlets said preparations were underway in anticipation of a possible response from Hezbollah following the strike on Lebanon, including the mobilization of anti-air systems.
Additionally, the Israeli Minister of Health has ordered hospitals in northern occupied territories to be ready for possible escalation.
The Israeli mayor of Haifa, Yona Yahav, asked settlers and residents to be vigilant and ready, while media outlets said that there exists a state of panic among settlers in the occupied coastal Palestinian city.
Israeli newspaper Maariv reported that instructions have been sent to Israeli ministers to avoid any reference to the "incident in Beirut."
"Based on the Prime Minister's directives, there should be no mention, until further notice, of the attack that occurred in the Lebanese capital," the message read.

Israeli media reports on operation's failure
Moriah Fliberg, the political affairs commentator for Israeli broadcaster Channel 13, said, "I heard the situation assessment from the Prime Minister this evening," adding, "They are less optimistic about the success of the assassination operation."
"Israel's" grave aggression on Beirut's Southern Suburb is expected to be met with a strong response by the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon - Hezbollah, as the area has been almost completely excluded from past Israeli aggressions on the country.
The Lebanese Ministry of Health said that a woman was martyred in the strike that targeted a residential building, destroying a substantial section of the structure.
The Ministry also said that at least 68 people were injured in the strike, five of whom were critical.
The rest of the individuals were moderately or lightly injured.
