'Israel' persists with intense airstrikes on southern Lebanon
The Israeli occupation military carries out additional deadly airstrikes against southern Lebanese towns and villages.
Israeli artillery shelling targeted the town of Yohmor al-Shaqif, while Israeli airstrikes hit the towns of Maroun al-Ras and Khiam, Al Mayadeen's correspondent in southern Lebanon reported on Tuesday.
Our correspondent mentioned that efforts continue to clear the rubble in Wata al-Khiam area to retrieve the bodies of 16 people killed in an Israeli airstrike a week ago.
Meanwhile, he reported that an Israeli drone strike targeted the town of al-Kfour in the Nabatieh district.
Israeli warplanes also carried out two airstrikes on Arabsalim in Nabatieh and the outskirts of al-Kharayeb in the Tyre district, our correspondent added.
Israeli airstrikes also targeted the souther Lebanese towns of al-Chehabiyeh and Toul.

'Israel' has killed 3,002 people in Lebanon, airstrikes only intensify
The Public Health Emergency Operations Center of the Ministry of Public Health reported that Israeli airstrikes in Lebanon as of Sunday have killed 16 people and wounded 90 others.
According to the center's daily update on the toll and impact of the ongoing Israeli aggression, the cumulative number of casualties since the start of the hostilities has reached 3,002 martyrs and 13,492 injuries.
Israeli military drones have intensified their low-altitude flights over southern Lebanon, particularly over Tyre, Beirut, and its Southern Suburb since Monday evening.
Israeli attacks continued across various southern Lebanese towns. An Israeli drone targeted the town of Haris with a guided missile on Sunday night, resulting in civilian injuries. In Bent Jbeil district, another guided missile hit a car in the town of Tireh.
Surveillance and combat aircraft also flew over the western and central sectors of southern Lebanon, extending to Tyre and the coastal area, where flares were dropped over border villages.
Israeli warplanes launched further airstrikes on the outskirts of Jbal al-Batm and the town of Harouf. Meanwhile, rescue teams from the Islamic al-Risala Scouts Association worked to evacuate the wounded and clear debris in the town of Ma'aroub in the Tyre district following an Israeli raid earlier in the day. Another airstrike targeted a farm in Mashrif, Tyre.
Other Israeli air raids struck Aita al-Shaab in the Bent Jbeil district, with a loud explosion reported in Yaroun. Artillery shelling was also directed at the town of Shebaa in the Hasbaya district. Lebanon's National News Agency reported additional artillery shelling in the town of Khiam, while an Israeli drone targeted the border town of Naqoura.
