Three people were killed in an Israeli airstrike on the village of Arabsalim, South Lebanon, during the early hours of Monday, Al Mayadeen's correspondent reported.

Our correspondent also reported three martyrs and a number of injuries after an Israeli raid targeted the town of Teffahta in the district of Saida, South Lebanon.

On Sunday night, the Israeli occupation launched an airstrike on the al-Jabal neighborhood in Jebshit, as well as four projectiles toward the outskirts of Burj al-Muluk.

Khiam came under heavy bombardment only a day after the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) headed to the Wata al-Khiam area in southern Lebanon to investigate the fate of 20 missing individuals, including women and children, amid the repeated incursions by the Israeli occupation forces into the area.

According to Al Mayadeen’s correspondent, residents of the southern town of al-Wazzani managed to retrieve the bodies of five martyrs out of the 20 missing in Wata al-Khiam.

UNIFIL, along with teams from the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) and the Lebanese Red Cross, will work to recover the remaining bodies of the martyrs from under the rubble with the assistance of a bulldozer.

The area between Roumin and Azzeh, Jwayya, Halloussiyeh, and Deir Qanoun el-Nahr all came under Israeli attack as well.

In West Bekaa, four people were killed and three others were injured after an Israeli airstrike targeted the town of Mashghara. Both Mashghara and Qalya in the western Bekaa were subjected to a number of violent raids.

The Lebanese Ministry of Health announced in its daily report on Sunday that the toll from the Israeli aggression on Lebanon has risen to 2,986 martyrs and 13,402 wounded. These figures are non-final as the aggression continues unabated.
