'Israel' says Golani soldier killed, 3 wounded in Lebanon drone strike
The Israeli occupation admits that a drone strike from southern Lebanon killed a soldier of the elite Golani Brigade and wounded three others.
The Israeli occupation forces confirmed on Tuesday that a soldier was killed and three others were wounded in a drone strike from southern Lebanon as part of the ongoing confrontations at the border area.
The announcement, released under the "permitted for publication" notice, identified the killed soldier as a reservist corporal from the Golani Brigade.
According to Israeli Army Radio, the soldier was killed, and three others were seriously wounded when Hezbollah targeted Golani Brigade troops with a drone as they were conducting a logistical supply mission in southern Lebanon.
Earlier reports from Israeli media stated that a soldier was killed and four others were injured, with two in critical condition, following a drone attack launched from Lebanon on an Israeli military position.
In related remarks, Yoali Or, a former deputy commander of the Golani Brigade, acknowledged that the losses inflicted by the Lebanese resistance on the brigade were the heaviest since its founding in 1948.
'Intact' capabilities
In an interview for Israeli Channel 12, Israeli strategic consultant Ayelet Frish highlighted that the Lebanese group’s "ground forces have largely remained intact." She warned that "it’s only a matter of time" before a new generation of fighters emerges following the Israeli assassination of Hezbollah's leaders.
Frish's remarks aligned with remarks by Channel 12's northern correspondent, Adar Gitsis, who warned against announcing the Lebanese group's defeat, as it still enjoys missile capabilities and replacements for assassinated leaders.
Regarding a ceasefire agreement, Frish pointed out that "Israel" has "exhausted the operation in Lebanon, but this doesn’t mean that Hezbollah has been disarmed, as promised by the new security minister."
"It is time to close this chapter and begin returning northern residents, and I pray for the agreement to be signed soon," she added.
Tel Aviv under fire
The capabilities truly proved intact on Monday, when the Israeli occupation forces confirmed that Tel Aviv had been targeted by several advanced missiles, resulting in significant damage and power outages in parts of the area.
An Israeli media outlet reported that the missile fired from Lebanon and that landed in Tel Aviv was a Fateh 110 missile.

This surface-to-surface missile, recognized for its significant destructive power, is engineered to strike critical targets with pinpoint accuracy within a margin of up to 10 meters.
Israeli media reported that at least one missile landed in Ramat Gan, a central city in the Tel Aviv area, causing a power outage in the area.
