'Israel's Iron Dome ‘more fragile than glass’: Pezeshkian
Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian stressed that Iran's Operation True Promise 2 served as a justified response to the crimes committed by the Israeli occupation.
Iran's Armed Forces have once again demonstrated that the defense system of the Israeli occupation regime is more fragile than glass, indicated Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian during a Cabinet meeting on Wednesday.
"In accordance with our legitimate rights and to ensure peace and security for Iran and the region, a decisive response was delivered to the Zionist regime’s aggression," Pezeshkian said, referring to Operation True Promise 2 - Iran's retaliation to the Israeli assassination of Hamas chief martyr Ismail Haniyeh, Hezbollah Secretary-General martyr Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, and the IRGC's Deputy Commander for Operations General Abbas Nilforoushan.
He praised the Iranian Armed Forces for their successful operation, which targeted highly sensitive military and security centers of the Zionist regime.
The Iranian President pointed out that Operation True Promise 2 not only demonstrated Iran's national pride to the world but was also in full accordance with international standards, serving as a justified response to the crimes committed by the Israeli occupation.

After the assassination of Haniyeh in Tehran, which Iran viewed as a blatant violation of its sovereignty and national security, Western countries urged Iran to exercise restraint, promising to broker a ceasefire in Gaza.
Pezeshkian explained that Iran had refrained from immediate retaliation, hoping the Israeli occupation would halt the genocide in Gaza. However, instead of stopping, the regime expanded its crimes, targeting both Gaza and Lebanon.
The Iranian President criticized the double standards and inaction of international organizations and Western nations regarding the occupation's crimes.
He recalled that "during the United Nations General Assembly, the prime minister of the Zionist regime, whose hands are stained with the blood of thousands of oppressed Palestinian women and children, openly threatened Iran, yet other countries remained silent in the face of such reckless and malicious behavior."
Earlier on Tuesday, dozens of missiles reportedly hit their designated target, with reports indicating that over 400 missiles and projectiles had been launched from Iran toward the occupied Palestinian territories.
The IRGC released a statement warning "Israel", "If the Zionist regime retaliates to the Iranian operation, it will face violent consequences." Israeli reports, on the other hand, indicate that somewhere in the ballpark of 300 rockets had been launched from Iran.
