'Our people have thwarted displacement plots', Hamas' al-Hayya says
Khalil al-Hayya discusses the Palestinian achievement of foiling the occupation's displacement plots from Gaza, as well as the Resistance's vow to liberated prisoners.
The Palestinian people "have thwarted the plots for their displacement, and we cherish all those who have supported us," Khalil al-Hayya, the leader of the Hamas Resistance movement in the Gaza Strip, said on Wednesday.
In a statement, al-Hayya expressed his gratitude and appreciation for the regional and Arab support, as well as his thanks for all those who have backed the Resistance and sacrificed their martyrs throughout the Battle of Al-Aqsa Flood.
He also praised Jordan and Egypt's stances that opposed displacement plots of the Palestinian people from the Gaza Strip.
This comes as Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi rejected the displacement of Palestinian people, saying “It cannot be tolerated or allowed at all, as it has an impact on Egypt's national security and is an injustice that we cannot participate in.”

In an address to the liberated Palestinian prisoners, al-Hayya said "We have kept our promises to you, and our martyred commander Abu Ibrahim [Yahya Sinwar] has kept his promises and vows to you," noting that the upcoming phase would require Palestinian unity and the resumption of resistance until complete victory is achieved.
In this context, a Palestinian Resistance commander informed Al Mayadeen that the Hamas Resistance movement submitted the list of names of Israeli captives to be handed over on Thursday.
Speaking to Al Mayadeen, the commander stated that the captives included a female Israeli soldier, Arbel Yehud, and an elderly man.
In exchange, 110 Palestinian prisoners will be liberated, including 30 children held in Israeli prisoners, Hamas' prisoner affairs office confirmed.
"Tomorrow, on Thursday, 32 prisoners sentenced to life in prison, 48 with long term sentences and 30 children will be released as part of the first stage of the exchange deal," the statement read.
