Hamas's Military Media released another part of its "Time is Running Out" series, showing Israeli-American captive Edan Alexander slamming the Israeli government for failing to secure his release.

In the video, Edan says he is disgusted by "this world and [the] Israeli government" and describes Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu as a dictator, saying Hamas was willing to release him three weeks ago, accusing Netanyahu of refusing and leaving him in Gaza.

"Everyone lied to me: My people, the Israeli government, the American administration, the army, and everyone else," he angrily said.

Edan also directly addressed US President Donald Trump, saying, "Why did you fall victim to Netanyahu's lies?"

The Israeli-US captive can be seen crashing out while talking about his experience in Gaza as the Israeli military continues its indiscriminate bombing campaign, finally saying that he and the other captives do not believe they will make it out alive. "We really think we'll come home dead. There's nothing to say. No hope."

In a statement earlier Saturday, Hamas said "Israel's" war on Gaza endangered not only Palestinian civilians but also the remaining captives. The onslaught not only "kills defenceless civilians but also makes the fate of the occupation's captives uncertain", Hamas reiterated.

Captives in areas under Israeli bombardment

Last week, al-Qassam Brigades spokesman Abu Obeida announced that "half of the living enemy captives are located in areas the Israeli army has recently ordered to evacuate."

In a series of posts on his Telegram account, Abu Obeida explained that al-Qassam had decided not to move the captives from these areas but to keep them under "strict but extremely dangerous security procedures."

"If the enemy is concerned about the lives of these captives, it must immediately negotiate for their evacuation or release," he warned, adding, "We have given clear warning."

Abu Obeida placed full responsibility for the captives' lives on the Israeli government, stating, "The Netanyahu government bears complete responsibility for the lives of the captives. Had it truly cared about them, it would have honored the agreement signed in January — and most of them might have been home by now."
