'What strike?' Iran's delegation says when asked about Isfahan attack
Mockery of the reportedly Israeli drone attack on Isfahan continues, and this time from official Iranian diplomats.
A video circulated on social media showed the reporter of Voice of America asking Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian about his stance on the reportedly Israeli drone attack that targeted the Iranian city of Isfahan earlier on Friday and whether Iran would retaliate.
The video shows Amir-Abdollahian refraining from answering, but a member of his delegation said "What strike?" with a snort.

Iran's Space Agency confirmed that several drones, of unspecified origin, were downed over Iranian airspace, noting that no missile attack on Iran occurred on Friday.
The Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) said that short-range and medium-range Iranian air defense batteries repelled the attack.
The Iranian news agency Fars said that an army radar at an Isfahan military base was one of the possible targets, noting that only windows on several office buildings were damaged as a result of the attack.
Sources told Al Mayadeen that Iranian air defenses repelled a relatively small drone attack in Tabriz and Isfahan, which was likely launched domestically.
"Israel" did not officially claim responsibility for the attack, but Israeli Police Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir took to X following the incident and posted a single word: "Farce!."

Following the Isfahan attack linked to the Israeli occupation, analysts on Israeli morning news programs noted that the strike seemed to have little impact on military installations in Iran.
Social media users in Iran also ridiculed the strike, considering it a feeble Israeli response compared to the missiles and drones Iran launched toward Israeli targets the previous weekend.
