While emphasizing the significant intelligence failure resulting from the disarray within the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) and intelligence services, Israeli media have acknowledged several remarkable achievements of Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas.
According to Israeli media, there is documented evidence of Hamas using kamikaze drones on a large scale for the first time, with Hezbollah possessing even more advanced types.
Palestinian militants conducted a ground operation under the cover of rocket fire into 20 settlements, 11 camps, and an Israeli army base, as per Israeli media.
Meanwhile, media reports also noted that an estimated 800 to 1000 Palestinian militants entered the barrier fence between the occupied territories and the Gaza Strip at 80 locations.

In the same context, Israeli media acknowledged that the Israeli army is disoriented and unsure if the "Palestinian militants were infiltrating from above or below the ground."
Israeli media quoted an Israeli military spokesperson as saying that Israeli leadership does not rule out the possibility that "Palestinian militants managed to bypass Gaza through the tunnel network."
It also reported the head of the National Security Council admitting that he made a mistake in his assessment when he said, "Hamas is deterred for 15 years."
This comes shortly after Al-Qassam Brigades revealed that the airforce had been engaged in battle since the early hours of Operation Al-Aqsa Flood.
They revealed that 35 al-Zouari suicide drones were employed in different combat sites: attacking different enemy positions
Al-Qassam Brigades shared footage of the al-Zouari suicide drone attacking Israeli positions to distract the Iron Dome. The drone offered aerial support for the resistance fighters to cross into the occupied Palestinian territories of the Gaza envelope.

In the same context, the brigades announced that five speedboats carrying al-Qassam Brigades navy commandos from Gaza landed in occupied territories during the first stages of Operation Al-Aqsa Flood on Saturday morning.
The statement said the special forces were able to execute a beach landing to the south of Askalan, taking control of several areas.
The fighters were able to engage and confront targets, costing the enemy severe casualties, as several of these fighters continued to fight occupation forces for more than 30 hours since the launching of the operation, the statement read.
