Five speedboats carrying al-Qassam Brigades navy commandos from Gaza landed in occupied territories during the first stages of Operation Al-Aqsa Flood on Saturday, the Brigades said in a statement.

The statement said the special forces were able to execute a beach landing to the south of Askalan, taking control of several areas.

The fighters were able to engage and confront targets, costing the enemy severe casualties, as several of these fighters continued to fight occupation forces for more than 30 hours since the operation was launched, the statement read.

The statement comes after the Israeli occupation forces released footage of the Naval Force allegedly targeting speedboats carrying fighters on Saturday.

The footage was accompanied by a short statement claiming that the occupation's Navy had targeted 4 vessels near Gaza in the early morning, however, the IOF failed to state if it was able to thwart the Resistance's advance through Palestinian waters.

Al-Qassam's statement reveals stark details regarding the Palestinian Resistance's ability to advance through enemy lines, on land and in the air and sea.
