The Prisoners' and Ex-Prisoners' Affairs Commission and the Palestinian Prisoners Club reported, on Friday, that a detainee from the Gaza Strip was killed in "Ramla prison clinic", adding that there are attempts to reach his family before disclosing his name.

The Palestinian Prisoner Affairs associations confirmed that the martyr had a pre-existing mobility impairment before his arrest. The Israeli prison administration transferred him to "Ramla prison clinic" about a month ago, arriving in critical health conditions due to torture, which caused severe injuries to his body, as conveyed by one of the lawyers who visited the detainees in the prison.

They explained that legal attempts were made to visit the detainee, but the Israeli prison administration did not allow it, noting the presence of other detainees from Gaza in the "Ramla prison clinic".

In further detail, the Prisoners' and Ex-Prisoners' Affairs Commission and the Palestinian Prisoners Club have reported that detainees informed a lawyer that a detainee from Gaza had been killed last Tuesday after being transferred to the hospital.

The prison administration did not officially announce it, amid the ongoing crime of enforced disappearance that the Israeli occupation has continued to implement against Gaza detainees since October 7th last year, as per the Palestinian Prisoner Affairs associations.

Stripped, Beaten or killed

The Palestinian Prisoner Affairs associations continued to state that the increasing number of martyrs in the Israeli prisons after October 7th, due to torture, systematic retaliatory measures, and medical negligence, constitutes a clear decision to kill them within the framework of the ongoing genocide in Gaza and the comprehensive aggression against the Palestinian people.

This is in addition to the crime of enforced disappearance, which today represents the most prominent and serious crimes that the occupation insists on executing against Gaza detainees, they added.

It is worth noting that specialized human rights institutions have repeatedly appealed to international institutions at all levels to stop the crime of enforced disappearance. Through it, the occupation aims to carry out more crimes without any oversight and in secrecy, alongside adapting the law to practice it by approving regulations specific to Gaza detainees.

It should be mentioned that the number of detainees who have been killed in the occupation's prisons after October 7th has reached 10 martyrs until today. Among them are three from Gaza, one of whom has not been identified to this day, in addition to the martyrdom of the injured detainee Muhammad Abu Saneena in "Hadassah" Hospital a day after his arrest and injury.

The Palestinian Prisoner Affairs associations confirmed that "Israel" had admitted to executing one of the detainees and did not announce his identity, and no information has reached the relevant authorities about him. This is in addition to what was revealed through the Israeli media about the execution of a group of detainees in the "Sde Teman" detention camp in the occupied city of Beer al-Sabe without disclosing their identities.
