In the past 48 hours, hospitals in the Gaza Strip have received 95 martyrs and 304 injured, the Health Ministry in the Palestinian enclave stated in its daily statistical report on Saturday, as "Israel's" aggression continues unabated.
The ministry noted that a number of victims remain trapped under the rubble and in the streets, unreachable by ambulance and civil defense crews.
According to the report, the total toll of the Israeli aggression on Gaza has risen to 54,772 martyrs and 125,834 injured since October 7, 2023.
Since March 18, 2025, when "Israel" resumed its war on the territory, the number of martyrs and injured has reached 4,497 martyrs and 13,793 injured, it highlighted.
Genocide ongoing
The Israeli occupation continues its genocidal war on the Gaza Strip, escalating massacres and mounting civilian casualties.
In detail, Al Mayadeen’s correspondent reported that at least 15 people were killed and others were wounded when Israeli warplanes targeted a residential home in the Sabra neighborhood, south of Gaza City.
Additional airstrikes struck a group of civilians in the al-Ibsi area of the al-Tuffah neighborhood, northeast of Gaza City, resulting in multiple fatalities and injuries.
Near an aid center west of Rafah, southern Gaza, eight people were killed by Israeli forces’ gunfire, according to field reports.
In the town of Bani Suhaila, east of Khan Yunis, six people were killed in another Israeli airstrike targeting civilians.
Separately, an Israeli drone strike hit Al-Qudra Street in the al-Amal neighborhood of Khan Younis, killing one and injuring another.
Artillery shelling also struck near the Tamraz Mosque in the al-Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza, causing additional injuries, according to witnesses.
The continued violence underscores the deepening humanitarian crisis in Gaza as the Israeli occupation intensifies its military operations.
Number of aid-related martyrs reaches 110
In the same context, the ministry said that in the past 48 hours, 10 martyrs and over 110 injured have arrived at hospitals from aid distribution areas.
It added that the total number of aid-related martyrs who have reached hospitals from designated aid distribution zones stands at 110 martyrs and over 1,000 injured.
The residents of Gaza have massed at the al-Alam area almost daily since late May to collect humanitarian aid at a center about one kilometre (0.6 miles) away, operated by the US-backed Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF).
The GHF began operations in late May as "Israel" partially eased a more than two-month blockade on the Gaza Strip.
The United Nations, which has refused to cooperate with the GHF over neutrality concerns, has warned that Gaza's entire population of more than two million people was at risk of starvation.
The group shut down its distribution centers on Wednesday for what it called "reorganisation" in an effort to improve its work, after its first week of operations was marred by global criticism.
Reports from Gaza that dozens were killed over the course of three days as they attempted to reach the aid centers drew sharp condemnation from the UN.
