The Iraqi intelligence agency announced on Sunday that 14 members of ISIS were arrested in Baghdad, including leaders of the terror group.
In a statement, the agency announced that the Federal Intelligence and Investigation Agencies combatted terrorism and carried out operations in the capital, which resulted in the arrest of 14 terrorists.
The agency added that the Iraqi intelligence officers carried out pre-emptive operations in which technical methods were used to track the targets and ambush them until they were arrested in separate operations.
Among the targets were prominent ISIS leaders Abu Safana, Abu Omar, and Abu Musab.
Yesterday, the Popular Mobilization Forces stated that an operation resulted in the arrest of an ISIS member.
