Israeli police prevented Tuesday a far-right MK, Itamar Ben-Gvir, from storming the mosque.
This step comes in light of the fears expressed by the Israeli security services of an escalation in occupied Jerusalem (Al-Quds), in light of the so-called 'flag march', which was announced to be postponed until next Tuesday after getting canceled.
Israeli media says that the Israeli cabinet decided to enable the 'Flag March' Tuesday, as per an agreement with the Israeli police and the organizers.
