Odeh to Al Mayadeen: “new Israeli government eyes deal of the century”
In an exclusive interview with Al Mayadeen, Ayman Odeh said that "the next Israeli government will work to intensify settlement activities in Al-Quds," assuring that Netanyahu "has lost all his cards."
The head of the Joint List, Ayman Odeh, confirmed to Al Mayadeen that the upcoming Israeli coalition would likely stick to the consensus issue of the attacks on Al-Quds (Occupied Jerusalem), noting that "the policy of the next Israeli government is to implement the deal of the century."
During his exclusive interview with Al Mayadeen, Odeh noted that "the new Israeli government will exert strained efforts to intensify settlement activities in Al-Quds," adding that "We are counting on the resident of Al-Quds to defeat Israeli plans."
Regarding Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, he said that Netanyahu has "lost all his cards," noting that "there is a structural crisis in Israel."
He continued that "Netanyahu has lied over and over again to his allies, and no political party believes him," adding that "Netanyahu is a very aggressive opposition leader, and what is happening does not mean that it is over.”
Odeh moved on to say that Netanyahu's immediate replacement is a staunch supporter of Israeli settlements and a violent extremist."
Besides, the Israeli parliament speaker has scheduled on Tuesday a vote for Sunday on a new government that would end Netanyahu’s rule, according to Israeli media outlets.
On his part, Netanyahu has called the new coalition the “fraud of the century”.
