The Israeli occupation shoots at a group of young men in southern Gaza.
This morning, Saturday, the Israeli occupation forces opened fire at a group of young men in the southern Gaza Strip.
Palestinian media quoted eyewitnesses saying that the occupation soldiers shot a group of young men who approached the fence adjacent to the village of Khuza'a, east of Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip, but no injuries were reported.
For days, the Gaza Strip has been witnessing an escalation in tension while an Israeli reconnaissance plane targeted a resistance site in the northern Gaza Strip on Thursday night.
Israeli media claimed that "air force planes bombed Hamas targets in the Gaza Strip, in response to the launching of fire balloons."
However, Hamas spokesman Fawzi Barhoum confirmed that the Israeli bombing of the resistance sites is only a show scene for the new Israeli government.
Barhoum pointed out that the occupation bombed to “restore the morale of its soldiers and leaders, which shattered in the face of the resistance’s steadfastness in the battle of Saif al-Quds.”
The Hamas official stressed that if “The occupation will commit any foolishness targeting the Palestinian people, the resistance will be headed by the Al-Qassam Brigades.”
As for the resistance committee's media office in Palestine, he said that "the resistance factions will not allow changing the rules of engagement and imposing new equations by the Zionist enemy."
Friday afternoon, clashes broke out between the Israeli police and Palestinian youths after occupation forces stormed the Al-Aqsa Mosque.

Palestinian media reported that the Israeli occupation forces closed all roads leading to the village of Beita, south of Nablus, after continuous protests in the town.
The Israeli occupation bulldozers closed the secondary roads from the western side of the village with earth mounds, meaning all entrances and exits of the village are closed, in addition to the main entrance that was blocked a month ago.
