Al-Sinwar: “Israel” blackmails Palestinian Resistance
Yahya al-Sinwar meets with the United Nations Special Coordinator for the Middle East Peace Process, describing the encounter as "negative."
Hamas leader in Gaza Yehya Al-Sinwar described his meeting with Tor Wencesland, United Nations Special Coordinator for the Middle East Peace Process, as "terrible."
The meeting between al-Sinwar and Wencesland at his office in Gaza City "was not altogether positive," according to al-Sinwar.
He added that the meeting "does not show any signs of solving the humanitarian crisis in Gaza." Furthermore, al-Sinwar announced that he “will hold a meeting with Palestinian factions to study the next step."
The top Palestinian figure added that “Israel’s criminal occupation continues in Gaza, the West Bank and Al-Quds”.
“The Israeli occupation is illegal. It also continues to oppress Palestinians in Gaza, the West Bank, and Al-Quds, while attempting to blackmail the resistance with a file that would allow it to relieve its people,” Al-Sinwar added.
Al-Sinwar had previously confirmed that “Seif Al-Quds battle” had brought about a strategic shift in the conflict with the occupation, stressing that “we find ourselves nowhere closer to Al-Quds and to its liberation, thanks to the resistance."
