Al-Mayadeen's reporter said that Palestinian prisoner Ghazanfar Abu Atwan suffered from a medical intervention to revive him. Furthermore, Ghazanfar's father, Eichmann Abu Atwan, told Palestinian agencies that there had been a severe deterioration of his son's health.

Ghazanfar's father added that he had received a call from Doctors Without Borders that his son's health condition had worsened and that a quick medical intervention had revived him.

Abu Atwan pointed out that "the occupation authorities rejected his lawyer's request for a family visit," adding that he will go to the court to appeal for a prisoner visit permit. 

"We don't know the whole health state of our son," he added.

Abu Atwan, 28 years old, from the town of Dura, has been on hunger strike for 48 days in protest of being detained without a charge or trial. He's currently held captive in Kaplan Medical Center.
