Bolivian President visits Maduro
The Venezuelan and Bolivian presidents met during the commemoration of the 200th anniversary of the Carabobo independence battle, which was marked by a military parade.
Since taking office, Bolivian President Luis Arce met Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro in Caracas on his first official visit to the country.
Venezuela marked the 200th anniversary of the Battle of Carabobo independence with a military parade. The celebration included hundreds of soldiers and tankers that passed through the field where the decisive battle took place.
The Minister of Defense addressed a crowd of military and civilian officials: "We have reached the year 2021 victorious... It's done, my leader Chavez."
And the Battle of Carabobo was led by the liberator Simon Bolivar on June 24, 1821. It is marked an important historical date for the Venezuelan people, as it ensured the independence of Venezuela and the end of Spanish hegemony.
