Cuba strongly rejects US airstrikes on Syria and Iraq
After the US President adopted the targeting of military sites in Iraq, the Cuban Foreign Minister considered the US attacks on Syria and Iraq "a flagrant violation of international law and the Charter of the United Nations."
Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez affirmed his country's rejection of the US air attacks on Syria and Iraq.
The Cuban foreign minister tweeted today, Tuesday, that "Cuba strongly rejects the American airstrikes on Syria and Iraq."
Rodriguez considered these attacks "a flagrant violation of international law and the United Nations Charter."

This comes after US President Joe Biden confirmed that he had ordered the targeting of sites in Iraq on Monday night.
"I ordered airstrikes last night, targeting sites used by Iranian-backed militias responsible for the recent attacks on Americans in Iraq," Biden said while encountering outgoing Israeli President Reuven Rivlin.
