The chairman of the Islamic Jihad movement, Daoud Shehab, confirmed to Al-Mayadeen that "the resistance is fully prepared to protect the holy sites in Palestine."
Shehab added, "We are in an open conflict with the occupation, and the Palestinians must hold on to their homes and land," noting that "the residents of Al-Quds are facing the challenge of staying at home despite all threats and arrests."
Regarding the escalating events, the leader of the Jihad movement considered that "the outbreak of conflict in the region will turn into a disaster for the enemy more severe than Seif Al-Quds Battle," stressing the readiness of "Islamic Jihad" "to pay all the costs to break the thorn of the Israeli aggressor, and to protect our holy sites."
Shehab stressed to Al-Mayadeen that "the bet is on our people in Al-Quds (Occupied Jerusalem) to stay in their homes, no matter the cost."
