Former Israeli General: Naval War with Iran is not in Our Favor
The former commander of the Israeli navy warns of the continuation of the naval war with Iran and stresses that Israel's announcement of it has made it lose its importance.
A former Israeli general in the Israeli navy warned against the continuation of the naval war with Iran, stressing that it is not in Israel's interest.
In an interview with the newspaper "Maariv", the former commander of the Israeli Navy, General Eli Marom, stressed the continuation of the naval battlefield, given "Israel's dependence on maritime foreign trade extending from India to China, which negatively affects the Israeli economy."
The Israeli general explained that his country had waged a secret Naval battle with Iran over the past years, stressing that "leaking confidential information concerning the operations made them lose their importance."
General Eli Marom's statements came after an Israeli cargo ship caught fire in the northern Indian Ocean, without any party claiming responsibility for the accident.
