On Thursday morning, Israeli occupation forces raided several Palestinian homes in the West Bank, including houses in Beit Lahm, and executed several arrests.

Moreover, the occupation forces raided several houses in the Tell Jnoub village, west of Nablus, where several Palestinian youths countered the occupation forces before their withdrawal from the village.

The occupation forces demolished 11 houses in the village of Hamsa, in the West Bank.

In a similar context, the Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC), stated that "about 35 children face the threat of forced displacement after the destruction of Hamsa village".  The Occupation's bulldozers have moved the remains of the demolished houses using trucks, and claimed this territory as a "shooting arena for the Israeli army."

On Thursday morning, the Israeli occupation forces blew up the house of Palestinian prisoner Muntaser Shalabi, who had carried out the Za'tara checkpoint operation, in the village of Turmus 'Ayya, north of Ramallah in the West Bank.

Local sources said that a large force of the occupation army accompanied by their military vehicles stormed the village of Turmus 'Ayya, raided the house of prisoner Shalabi, and began evacuating the neighboring houses in preparation for destruction. The sources added that the occupation forces used large quantities of explosive material inside Shalabi's house to detonate and destroy it completely.

Al-Aqsa faced several similar incursions. Last June, an extremist member of the Knesset, Itamar Ben Jubeir, broke into the mosque under the protection of the Israeli forces. Moreover, settlers broke into the mosque from the side of Bab al Magharibah, protected by the Israeli occupation forces, and carried out provocative rounds in the mosque's yards.

Jordan condemns the demolishing of Palestinian homes in Hamsa

The Jordan Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, condemned the demolishing of Palestinian homes by the Israeli authorities in the village of Hamsa al-Fawqa in Jordan Valley.

The Ministry's spokesperson, Ambassador Daifallah Alfayez, said that the demolitions and displacements, in addition to the confiscation of land, are explicit violations of international law and human rights and "Israel's" obligations as an occupying force under international law.

"The Israeli settlement policy in the occupied Palestinian territories, whether through the construction and expansion of settlements, the confiscation of land, and the displacement of Palestinians from their homes, is illegal. It undermines efforts of achieving a comprehensive and just peace and the chances of having a two-state solution based on resolutions of international legitimacy." ALfayez Stressed.
