Argentina Wins Copa America Title
Argentina won its first major title since 1993 after a 1-0 win against Brazil, And Lionel Messi finally got his first major trophy with the national team.
Argentina won the Copa America title for the 15th time after defeating Brazil at the “Maracana” stadium in Rio de Janeiro, emerging victoriously when Angel Di Maria scored the opener midway through the first half.
Furthermore, Argentina's victory on Sunday was especially sweet for Barcelona striker Lionel Messi, who won his first trophy in the blue-and-white shirt after a decade of the club and individual glory.

Their triumph extended their unbeaten streak to 20 games under Scaloni, and it was Brazil's first competitive loss since losing to Belgium in the 2018 World Cup quarterfinals.
When the game was over, tearful Messi knelt and covered his face with his hands. The majority of his teammates then ran towards him to congratulate him and flung him into the air. He went up to the few hundred visitors singing his name at the Maracana and chanted with them. During the ceremony, Messi kissed the trophy before hoisting it into the air.
