Attack on International Coalition Deir Ezzor Base
Exclusive sources to Al Mayadeen report the attack of the International Coalition base in the Al-Omar oilfield, which is the second attack within 12 hours after Koniko natural gas field was attacked by mortar shells.
Al Mayadeen sources reported that the International Coalition base in the al-Omar oilfield, southwest Deiz Ezzor, was attacked with several rockets.
Sources added that plumes of smoke were seen rising from inside the field while sirens were sounded.
They explained that this attack - which is the second in less than 12 hours - resulted in material damage and an intense subsequent mobilization among the US-led international coalition forces and the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF).
A video was posted on Twitter showing the moment one of the missiles hit the base.

"SDF" accused "ISIS"-linked cells of attacking the US bases east of the Euphrates.
On Sunday, the Director of the Media Center of the Syrian Democratic Forces, Farhad Shami, said that it is likely that ISIS cells are behind the attack on the international coalition military base.
This attack is the fourth of its kind in less than two weeks.
The Koniko natural gas field, used by the US military as a base in the countryside of Deir Ezzor, eastern Syria, was attacked Saturday with mortar shells.
A US military official stated that his country's forces in eastern Syria had been "indirectly attacked with firearms."
