In the town of Yaabud, southwest of Jenin, Palestinian youth stood against the storming of occupation forces, who fired teargas and sonic grenades towards them.

Occupation forces delivered requests to the freed prisoners, Hussein Herzallah and Seif al-Kilani from Yaabud south of Jenin, to appear before Israeli intelligence on Sunday, after storming into their homes and breaking their doors, amid confrontations erupting in the town.

The UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (UN OCHA) in Palestine announced that Israeli authorities had demolished 474 Palestinian buildings since the beginning of 2021.

In a statement, the UN office reported that the destruction displaced 556 people, including 359 children in the West Bank, pointing out that the widespread destruction of property is a grave violation of the 4th Geneva accords and can amount to a war crime.

Hamas called on the youth in al-Quds to be alert, to remain steadfast at the gates of the old town and other neighborhoods in al-Quds, as of Saturday to confront the settlers.

The movement asked Palestinians in the West Bank and 48-Palestinians to head to the al-Aqsa mosque on the Islamic holy day of Arafah.

Occupied al-Quds saw tensions rise yesterday after settlers seized a plot of land and two residential rooms in the Wadi Helwa neighborhood in Silwan, south of al-Aqsa mosque.
