On Tuesday the Secretary-General of Asa'ib Ahl al-Haq stressed that the faction's operations will continue until the US forces depart from Iraq.

In a statement to Al Ahad TV, Khazali emphasized that recent Resistance activities against US forces were a rerun of recent bombings of Popular Mobilization Forces. He underlined that the Resistance was unconcerned with the US-Iraqi government administration talks, as it is a ploy to 'trick' Washington into staying in Iraq.

"We do not count out 'Israel' in its hands in bombing, whatever the tools used to do it," Khazali remarked in response to the bombardment of Sadr City.

“Political incentives are behind the bombing of Woheilat market in Sadr city, as well as the existence of security and intelligence collusion by certain figures,” Khazali asserted. He also held the US "responsible for the murder of our people and will respond to its crimes and warn it against the continued killing of civilians."

He continued, "Sometime before the Sadr tragedy, the security media cell reported the arrest of the so-called Wali Baghdad," adding that "Al-Kadhimi holding security leaders accountable is a big injustice and is aimed at whitewashing the real perpetrators."

"The people are starting to lose faith in the intelligence apparatus because of its inaccuracy in reporting the news" the Secretary-General said, adding that "Rather than being lauded, the leader of the Iraqi Falcon Cell has been marginalized because of his refusal to target the Resistance factions."

On the other hand, Khazali stressed that “The several bombings raises numerous questions," adding "The Israeli entity is responsible for the vast majority of the targeting of the Popular Mobilization Force's weapons depots, as it aims to drain and degrade its capabilities."

Without omitting 'Israel' from the equation, Khazali asserted their involvement in the bombing operations regardless of the tools used to employ it. He questioned the government’s capability of arresting the suspect accused of burning Furat General Hospital; the accusations raised doubts about who’s behind it.
