Ibtisam Kaabneh Buried in Jericho
Israeli soldiers murder Ibtisam Kaabneh on June 12 at the Qalandia military checkpoint, north of occupied Jerusalem.
Palestine buries martyr Ibtisam Kaabneh in the cemetery of Aqabat Jabr, a Palestinian refugee camp in Ariha, Palestine.
Kaabneh’s body, seized by the occupation authorities, was released at the southern entrance of Ariha and transferred to the governmental hospital.
Prisoner Ibtisam Kaabneh was murdered on June 12 at the Qalandia military checkpoint, north of occupied Jerusalem, after Israeli soldiers shot her, leaving her to bleed to death.
While Palestinian youths and activists confronted the attacks at Damascus Gate near Al-Aqsa Mosque (which resulted in arrests!), marches are being organized in Tubas Governorate as a response to a group of settlers who are establishing a settlement outpost near Tayseer Checkpoint in the Jordan Valley.
In parallel, 14 prisoners in the occupation’s detention centers continue their hunger strike in refusal to support the occupation’s policy of imprisonment without charge or trial. Most of the protesting prisoners are old prisoners who have spent years in occupation prisons.
In Ramallah, the Palestinians attended the funeral of the martyr, the boy Muhammad al-Tamimi. The funeral procession started from the medical complex in the city of Ramallah, and headed north towards his village, Deir Nidham.
Al-Tamimi, aged 17, was seriously injured after being shot by the occupation soldiers in Nabi Saleh, northwest of Ramallah.
