Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Saeed Khatibzadeh described the news of repeated security incidents targeting ships in the Gulf and the Sea of Oman as "suspicious".

Khatibzadeh warned against promoting private political purposes and emphasized Tehran's eagerness to maintain security and stability in the Gulf and the Sea of Oman while cooperating with the countries of the region to help solve navigation problems.

Similarly, Iranian Armed Forces spokesman Abu al-Fadl Shakarji said, "Our forces contribute to the security of navigation and provide assistance in securing commercial ships."

He implied that Iranian forces have all suspicious acts under their surveillance and are ready to respond, stressing that "the Zionist and Saudi news about destabilizing security and piracy of ships pave the way for a venture."

Israeli media reported Tuesday night a "military incident" near the port of Fujairah in the Gulf of Oman.

According to the ship monitoring website "MarineTraffic", two ships, the oil tanker "Golden Brilliant" and asphalt-carrying ship "Kamdhenu", reported through the automatic identification system that they are "not under command", which means they have lost power and can no longer navigate.

The British Maritime Trade Authority "UKMTO" reported an accident near the port of Fujairah, stating that ships were asked not to approach the area, without providing further details.

The Authority tweeted that "the incident is a potential non-piracy hijack".

Last Friday, the newspaper "Israel Hayom" cited reports by the British Ministry of Defense about an attack on an Israeli ship off the Gulf of Oman.

According to the reports, "The ship was attacked in the Arabian Sea," noting that the site is more than 300 kilometers southeast of Muscat, the capital of Oman.

And the Maritime Security website, Dryad, reported the killing of two onboard the Israeli ship, which was attacked by a combat drone in the Arabian Sea.
