Raisi to UAE Envoy: Iran Serious in Developing Relations with UAE
The new Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi stresses that there are no obstacles in the way of expanding Iranian-Emirati relations in various fields, especially the economic field.
Today, Thursday, Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi affirmed Iran's "real and sincere will" to develop its relations with the UAE, during his meeting with the UAE's special envoy.
Raisi said that "there are no obstacles in the way of expanding relations between the two countries in various fields, especially the economic field," noting that Iran has warm sentiments toward the Emirati people. He also pointed out that "close relations between the two governments can pave the way for establishing brotherly relations and closer cooperation between the two peoples.”
Raisi also stressed that "the Zionists dislike the countries of the region, and they seek, through normalization of ties, to weaken the ability of the Islamic world."
Yesterday, Thursday, tens of official delegations participated in the swearing-in ceremony of the elected Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi.
In his inauguration speech, Raisi said that the "Iranian people are adamant on treading the path of the revolution, and their will is that the country be placed on the road of justice, liberty, and dignity,” adding, “I feel proud and honored to be in the service of the Iranian people.”
