15 Israeli soldiers killed in Gaza, North in August: Israeli media
Israeli newspaper Maariv acknowledges, under the "permitted to publish" clause, the killing of 15 Israeli soldiers in August 2024 in the Gaza Strip and the northern front.
August was the bloodiest month for "Israel" on both the Gaza and Lebanese fronts, Israeli newspaper Maariv reported.
The newspaper admitted that this month, 15 IOF soldiers were killed during confrontations taking place in the Gaza Strip, as well as on the front with Lebanon.
On Wednesday, the occupation army acknowledged the death of a new soldier from the 932nd Battalion in the elite Nahal Brigade during battles in the southern Gaza Strip. Israeli media reported that Amit Friedman, killed during the battles, was the son of Assaf Friedman, a Knesset member, and director of its Foreign Affairs and Security Committee.
On Monday, a reserve first sergeant in the Israeli occupation forces was killed during confrontations in the central Gaza Strip, according to Israeli occupation media, Channel 12.
Reports indicate that the IOF sergeant sustained injuries from an explosive device while participating in operations in the central section of the Palestinian sector, where he was complicit in the ongoing genocide against the Palestinian people. The sergeant reportedly succumbed to his injuries later on.
A few days ago, six funerals were held for soldiers from the occupation army. Five of the soldiers were killed in the Gaza Strip during the ongoing battles on various fronts, while one was killed in the North while serving on a Dvora warship near Nahariya.
As a result, the number of soldiers killed since the onset of Operation Al-Aqsa Flood has risen to 703, with 339 of these casualties occurring since the start of the ground battles in the Gaza Strip, based on data that the occupation army has permitted to be released.
Meanwhile, the occupation army continues to withhold information about the full extent of its losses.
