BREAKING
Sheikh Qassem: Resistance is a source of power for Lebanon that must be preserved.
Sheikh Qassem: "Israel" must implement the agreement as Lebanon has already done so, and any new accord would amount to absolving it and opening the door to further attacks.
Sheikh Qassem: We do not wish to assume anyone's role; those accusing us of this must cease their accusations.
Sheikh Qassem: We will recover our lands through national solidarity; Resistance's goal is national liberation, while enemy goal is occupation.
Sheikh Qassem: Protection of sovereignty protects Lebanon. It is in real danger because of US belligerence, greedy Israeli expansion.
Qassem to Lebanese people: We are not asking for support but for us not to be stabbed in the back in the back or for some to serve Israeli interests; government is primary party responsible for [preservation of] sovereignty.
Sheikh Qassem: "Israel" can occupy, but it cannot persist in occupation of our land.
Sheikh Qassem: Intimidation will not change our stance of resistance and steadfastness. We are not advocates of surrender or defeat, and we will never accept it.
Sheikh Qassem: Where does US stand regarding enemy's unjustified assassination of a government worker and other civilian martyrs?
Sheikh Qassem: Is the Lebanese Army's defense of its land and citizens an accusation [leveled against it]? Where does US stand regarding the enemy's killing of civilians and constant destruction?

A 15-year-old Palestinian boy, Yamen Samed Hamed, was martyred on Thursday evening after being shot with live ammunition by the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) during a military incursion into the town of Silwad, east of Ramallah, in the occupied West Bank.

Local sources reported that the Israeli occupation forces stormed the town, triggering confrontations at its main entrance. During the raid, the forces fired live ammunition, tear gas, and sound bombs. Hamed sustained critical injuries during the confrontations and later succumbed to his wounds at the Palestine Medical Complex.

Eyewitnesses stated that the Israeli occupation forces deliberately obstructed medical assistance by preventing the ambulance from reaching the injured boy immediately.

He was left bleeding on the ground for several minutes before the soldiers allowed him to be transported to the hospital. Despite emergency efforts, the boy was pronounced dead upon arrival, marking yet another case of a Palestinian child killed by occupation forces, who prevented critical medical aid from reaching him on time.

Israeli settlers launch attacks in Ramallah

On a related note, Israeli settlers attacked Palestinian vehicles, attempting to storm villages near Ramallah on Wednesday night, in the latest wave of settler violence targeting Palestinian civilians in the occupied West Bank.

According to local sources, settlers hurled stones at Palestinian vehicles near the entrance of the village of Deir Nidham, northwest of Ramallah. Several cars sustained damage and shattered windows, though no injuries were reported.

In a separate incident, settlers assaulted the outskirts of the village of Burqa, east of Ramallah, and attempted to storm the area. Residents confronted the settlers before occupation forces raided the village following the attack.

According to the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission, Israeli settlers have carried out 7,154 attacks against Palestinians and their property across the West Bank since October 7, 2023, resulting in the killing of 34 Palestinians.
