Israeli settlers attacked Palestinian vehicles and attempted to storm villages near Ramallah on Wednesday evening, in the latest wave of settler violence targeting Palestinian civilians in the occupied West Bank.

According to local sources, settlers hurled stones at Palestinian vehicles near the entrance of the village of Deir Nidham, northwest of Ramallah. Several cars sustained damage and shattered windows, though no injuries were reported.

Settlers attempt to storm Burqa village

In a separate incident, settlers assaulted the outskirts of the village of Burqa, east of Ramallah, and attempted to storm the area. Residents confronted the settlers before occupation forces raided the village following the attack.

According to the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission, Israeli settlers have carried out 7,154 attacks against Palestinians and their property across the West Bank since October 7, 2023, resulting in the killing of 34 Palestinians.

The incidents in Deir Nidham and Burqa are part of a broader surge in settler-led violence under the protection of occupation forces, amid escalating tensions across occupied Palestine.

Israeli media acknowledged that one military vehicle was hit during the operation.

According to local sources, violent confrontations broke out between Palestinian youths and Israeli occupation forces, who responded with live ammunition and tear gas.

18 Palestinians arrested in al-Quds raids

In al-Quds, IOF accompanied by settlers stormed the al-Hathroura community east of the city, arresting 18 Palestinian youths during widespread raids and search operations.

Elsewhere, settlers carried out attacks on Palestinian vehicles near the village of Deir Nizam, northwest of Ramallah, damaging several cars. Eyewitnesses reported that occupation soldiers facilitated the settlers’ actions by providing protection during the attacks.

Al-Quds Brigades capture IOF drones, launch Op. Blinding Vision

The al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement, announced on its Telegram channel today, Wednesday, that its leadership had obtained "valuable information" after taking control of Israeli occupation forces' drones in the West Bank.

The al-Quds Brigades broadcast footage of the operation, which they codenamed Blinding Vision, along with a portion of the information extracted from the drones they were permitted to publish.

An al-Quds Brigades field commander in the West Bank explained that the extracted intel had a major impact on their operational capabilities, which they demonstrated by carrying out several attacks against occupation positions, checkpoints, and military points and by planting IEDs along the routes taken by military vehicles.
