The Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) movement condemned the assassination of three Palestinian youth west of Jenin, carried out by Israeli occupation forces using sniper fire and aerial bombardment, calling it part of a continued pattern of criminal aggression across the occupied West Bank.

In an official statement, the movement described the killings as the latest act of Israeli sniper assassinations in the West Bank, warning that the occupation’s military escalation reflects the regime’s deepening brutality and disregard for Palestinian lives.

The movement criticized the use of sniper weapons and airstrikes on Palestinian homes in densely populated residential zones, describing it as a "dangerous escalation" that exposed the true face of the occupation’s criminal policies.

It added that the occupation forces surrounded the targeted house and actively prevented ambulances from reaching the wounded, underscoring a blatant disregard for humanitarian norms and international law.

The PIJ also pointed to recent acts of collective punishment, stating that the occupation had demolished 40 homes in the village of al-Sir in al-Naqab as part of a deliberate campaign to uproot Palestinians from their lands.

Additionally, more than 1,000 homes have been destroyed in the Jenin, Tulkarm, and Nur Shams refugee camps in recent months, further illustrating the occupation’s agenda of displacement and demographic control. The movement affirmed that these crimes will not deter the Palestinian people, emphasizing that such actions will only deepen their adherence to the path of resistance.

It warned that the occupation’s current trajectory threatens not only the Palestinian people but the wider region, stating, "The occupation’s policies and aggression endanger the stability and security of the peoples of the region."

The movement concluded its statement by reaffirming that the resistance remains steadfast and that the crimes committed in Jenin and across the occupied territories will not go unanswered.

Earlier on Tuesday, the Israeli attack took place following a brutal raid in Jenin that involved hours of siege, armed confrontations, and aerial bombardment in the village of Kafr Qud, located in the northern West Bank district of Jenin.

At dawn, Israeli occupation forces encircled the home of martyr Tamer al-Nasharti's family, a resident of the Jenin refugee camp. The raid began with heavy gunfire and explosions, spreading panic in the area.

According to local sources cited by the National Media Center, the occupation forces deployed bulldozers and military vehicles to the site of the Kafr Qud siege. Armed confrontations then broke out in the vicinity of the house, with thick smoke seen rising from the area.
