Invading Israeli units stormed the town of Tarqumiya, west of al-Khalil in the occupied West Bank, late last night, intensifying their campaign of arrests and raids across the region.

Earlier, Israeli forces withdrew from Meithalun, south of Jenin, after detaining two young men. In a related development, an explosive device was detonated near an Israeli military patrol in Al-Silah Al-Harithiya, northwest of Jenin.

Confrontations between Resistance fighters and Israeli occupation forces persist, particularly in Jenin, where a curfew has been imposed on the refugee camp. Several Palestinians were arrested during overnight operations in multiple areas of the occupied West Bank.

In Jenin, IOF raided Palestinian homes, including the residence of prisoner Zakaria al-Zubaidi, detaining his son and daughter. Similar confrontations erupted in Burin, south of Nablus, as Palestinian youth confronted the brutal Israeli raid.

The Al-Arroub refugee camp, north of al-Khalil, also witnessed intense confrontations as Resistance fighters engaged Israeli forces during an incursion. Meanwhile, neighborhoods in Nablus' northern mountain area were subjected to raids, adding to the mounting tensions.

In Qalqilya, Israeli forces detained Issa Al-Fayed, the son of prisoner Saed Al-Fayed, just hours before his father's scheduled release after 22 years in detention. Al Mayadeen's correspondent revealed that IOF raided the Zubeidi family home and threatened them to celebrate Zakaria Zubeidi’s anticipated release.

Despite the Israeli military's intensifying operations, Resistance efforts have shown resilience. The Jenin Battalion of the Al-Quds Brigades announced that its fighters detonated an IED explosive targeting an Israeli infantry force in the Damaj Axis.

This comes as Resistance fighters continue to confront Israeli infantry and military vehicles with heavy gunfire and explosive devices, with the battalion confirming multiple injuries among Israeli invading units.

These developments unfold as the West Bank endures an escalating Israeli military offensive, further deepening the region's humanitarian and security crisis.

Jaradat to Al Mayadeen: 'Israel' aims to neutralize Jenin Battalion

Palestinian writer Mohammed Jaradat told Al Mayadeen on Friday that the Israeli military campaign in Jenin is the most extensive, noting that "Israel is betting on achieving its goal of neutralizing the Jenin Battalion."

In an exclusive interview for Al Mayadeen, Jaradat emphasized that Tel Aviv seeks to destroy the Jenin refugee camp, adding that the raid conducted by the Israeli military chief of staff and the head of Shin Bet into the camp yesterday is part of an Israeli media campaign.

He argued that "everything happening in Jenin indicates that the occupation is attempting to compensate for its failure in Gaza."

The commander of the al-Quds Brigades in the West Bank previously asserted that what the Resistance will reveal at the end of the battle "will prove that the image of victory the enemy failed to achieve in Gaza will not be attained in the West Bank."

He further added, "Since the beginning of the Israeli aggression on Jenin, our fighters have continued to ambush IOF and military vehicles in ambushes."

Time has come for the West Bank: Shin Bet chief

Commenting on the Israeli incursions in Jenin, Lieutenant General Herzi Halevi, head of the Israeli occupation forces, has lately said in a statement. "We need to be prepared to continue in the Jenin camp, which will bring it to a different place."

In the past few days, armored bulldozers have torn up roads and hundreds of residents have fled their homes in the camp after being ordered to evacuate.

The raid, the third major operation by the Israeli military in Jenin in less than two years, has drawn international concern. France and Jordan have issued warnings against further escalation in the West Bank, an area that has experienced increased violence since the outset of the war on Gaza.

Al Mayadeen's correspondent reported on Thursday that the head of the Israeli Shin Bet security agency and the chief of staff conducted an evaluation of the situation in Jenin amid intensified Israeli aggression. The head of Shin Bet was quoted as saying, "The time for the West Bank has come."

The Israeli forces are currently carrying out widespread arrests in Jenin, Ya’bad, and Qabatiya. The correspondent highlighted concerns among observers that the military operation could expand from Jenin to other parts of the West Bank, potentially leading to a larger-scale escalation.

According to the correspondent, the Israeli occupation forces appear determined to evacuate residents from the Jenin refugee camp to carry out their military objectives.
