During his meeting with a delegation from the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, Raisi stressed that Iran will always defend the rights of oppressed Palestinians with all its capabilities.

Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi welcomes a delegation from the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) at the Iranian presidential headquarters.
The delegation extended sincere congratulations on Raisi’s election as Iran’s eighth president.
After attending Raisi’s swearing-in ceremony at the parliament in Tehran, the delegation asserted Palestinians’ absolute determination and firm resolution to continue in their resistance until the liberation of Palestine.
On his part, Raisi declared that Iran will continue to support Palestine as the main concern of the Muslim world.
Referring to “Seif Al-Quds battle” - the Palestinian resistance groups' 11-day rocket and missile launches in response to “Israel's” brutal aggression on Gaza in May - Raisi added that the most important message of this victory was that the theory of resistance in Palestine has worked and will work,” stressing that the resistance is the best strategic option to liberate Palestine.
The Iranian President has also met Ziyad al-Nakhalah, leader of the Islamic Jihad – another Palestinian resistance group based in Gaza. The latter has also congratulated the Iranian president on his victory.
