Al-Houthi to Coalition: Ready for Real Peace If You End Occupation
Leader of the "Ansar Allah" movement, Abdul-Malik al-Houthi says that the "Seif al-Quds" Battle exposed those normalizing ties with Israel, demanding an end to the blockade and to the occupation of Yemen.
The Leader of the Yemeni "Ansar Allah" Movement Abdul-Malik al-Houthi said on Monday that "the Battle of Seif al-Quds was a blessed move that ended with divine victory."
Al-Houthi said, during a speech commemmorating the Hijri new year, that "one of the most important events of the past Hijri year was the 'Seif al-Quds' Battle, which was a blessed move that ended with divine victory and holds great significance."
He also noted that "the Battle of 'Seif al-Quds' sorted the nation, and exposed those normalizing ties with Israel", adding that "the normalizers were exposed as they were justifying the Israeli enemy's [actions], while blaming the Resistance movements for their actions and wronging them."
Al-Houthi also clarified that "Saudi and Emirati media outlets are serving the Israeli enemy... the problem these two regimes have with Hamas is, first and foremost, its resistance against the Israeli enemy."
The Movement's leader reiterated his condemnation of the unjust Saudi sentences against Palestinian abductees, as he said that "the incrimination of support for the Palestinian Resistance by the Emirati and Saudi regimes and their likes constitutes a serious deviance," renewing the "Ansar Allah's" offer of a prisoner exchange "of captive officers in exchange for the abducted Palestinians."
The "Ansar Allah's" Political Bureau, yesterday, condemned the Saudi sentences against Palestinians residing in the KSA.
US, UK are using blockades as a strategy to target peoples
As for the aggression on Yemen, al-Houthi said "the blockade is part of the aggression and war on our country," and has no legal basis, adding that "there were many aspects to the economic war on Yemen, including the plundering of oil and gas wealths."
He also stated that the "US and UK are using the blockade and economic schemes as a main strategy in targeting our peoples," highlighting that "the US is at the forefront of targeting our currency by moving the central bank and the printing of bank notes." Al-Houthi also said that this comprehensive targeting reveals the true US intent whose war is one against the entire Yemeni people.
Today, a member of the Supreme Political Council in Yemen Sayyed Mohammad Ali al-Houthi said that the US "is constantly at work to devaluate the Yemeni Rial against the Dollar."
Airstrikes must stop and the occupation must end
The "Ansar Allah" Leader also considered that "those who call for peace while constantly supporting the aggression are actually presenting peace in the Israeli fashion," adding that "we told the previous UN envoy and the Omani mediators that if the Saudis announced an end to the aggression and blockade, then we would welcome it."
Al-Houthi stressed that it falls on Saudi Arabia to "end the aggression and the blockade, to sort out the war-related issues, such as the prisoners and the compensation, and to stop their interference," pointing out that "we cannot accept a mock peace as the airstrikes, attacks, violations, and blockade continue."
He also addressed the aggression coalition saying: "prove your good intent in the humanitarian aspect, then stop the airstrikes and end the occupation, and we, on our side, will stop. We are ready for true peace and have presented a number of initiatives, and when the Omanis came to Sanaa, we also presented some important initiatives. We do not hear a word from the international community, unless the army and popular committees score victories."
Preventing Hajj is an affront to the House of God
ِAl-Houthi again reiterated that the Saudi regime's prevention of the Hajj "for the second year in a row under the pretense of the Coronavirus is a very serious matter, and is an affront to the House of God," demanding Saudi Arabia to stop preventing the Hajj and to allow people to perform their religious duty.
He also highlighted that "restricting the Hajj to one country and to a limited number of people is an affront to the sanctity of this holy place, and a move that poses danger to the Islamic world."
Al-Houthi declared that "many Islamic countries accepted the Saudi justification, which we consider unconvincing and illegitimate, and we do not see the Coronavirus as a justifiable excuse for the Saudi regime to prevent" people from around the world from performing Hajj.
