Yemen’s Ansar Allah leader, Sayyed Abdul-Malik Sayyed al-Houthi, affirmed on Thursday that the Israeli preparations to attack Iran, aided by the United States, were extensive and extended for over a year, emphasizing that the most dangerous aspect of the aggression is the effort to remove the Islamic Republic and dominate the region.
He stated, "The defeat of the Israeli enemy in this confrontation is also a defeat for America and its Western allies," adding that the ultimate goal of the aggression is to force Iran into total and unconditional surrender, though, in the end, it is they who will have to back down.
The Yemeni leader emphasized that the Israeli enemy "was unable to shield itself from Iran's missile strikes and suffered heavy losses," describing the waves of Iranian missiles as "a real nightmare" that pushed the reality of the occupation into an unprecedented state of vulnerability.
He further asserted that "Israel suffered a major defeat, while Iran emerged victorious, thanks to its leadership, the Revolution's Guard, its Islamic system, and its people." He called this a "victory for all Muslims, for the Arab world, and for the Palestinian cause."
He concluded by arguing that "any attempt to topple or subjugate the Iranian state is not only unrealistic but entirely unachievable," warning that had the aggression succeeded, it would have drastically altered the geopolitical landscape of the region.
Sayyed al-Houthi stated that "the primary objective of the aggression was to reshape the Middle East, with Iran as the starting point, before turning to target other regimes and countries." He also criticized the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), saying that despite its name, what it truly lacks is “cooperation,” noting that its response was limited to a mere statement of condemnation.
On the Palestinian issue, Sayyed Al-Houthi condemned the situation in Gaza, asserting that humanitarian aid centers have been turned into U.S.-engineered “death traps” designed to exterminate Palestinians. He described the conditions as both tragic and horrific.
He went on to reveal that Ansar Allah had launched operations in support of Gaza over the past month, which included the firing of 25 ballistic and hypersonic missiles as well as drones, reaffirming that the Red Sea remains entirely closed to Israeli shipping and that the port of Umm al-Rashrash remains unoperational.
'To the dustbin of history': Mousavi warns 'Israel', US
Iran’s top military official declared that Iran has decisively repelled the recent aggression by “Israel” and the United States, asserting that Iran emerged with the upper hand against both adversaries during the latest confrontation.
In a statement on Thursday, the Chief of Staff of Iran’s Armed Forces, Major General Abdolrahim Mousavi, said, "Iran imposed its will on the United States and the Zionist entity in the latest war." He commended the armed forces for their resolute and courageous response, stating that Iran targeted key enemy military, strategic, and research centers and “turned them to ash.”
Mousavi further affirmed the losses suffered by the Israeli entity, which imposed a strict censorship regime on footage, stressing, "The losses were significant and extended across the entire entity, from north to south." He noted that the much-touted enemy air defense systems failed to shield the occupation, leaving settlers with no refuge other than shelters.
