According to a Saudi cabinet statement, Saudi Arabia maintained its "sympathy" with the Lebanese people but stated that any help to the present or future government depends on implementing fundamental and actual changes.
The Kingdom reinforced its support to Lebanon, stressing that any assistance provided to the present or future administration is contingent on implementing significant and tangible changes. The Saudi Press Agency added that it must be guaranteed that help reaches those who need it while avoiding mechanisms that allow the corrupt to determine Lebanon's fate.
It is worth noting that Lebanon is witnessing an economic crisis, which has negatively affected the acceptable standard of living for thousands of families from various Lebanese areas, followed by the spread of the Corona pandemic.
